I believe in a very simple philosophy: Don't be a Dick.
I know, that's pretty vague all things considered, but generally speaking, if you do something you'd never want another person to do to you - you're being a dick. Manipulation, passive aggressive comments or actions, lying, ignoring my own limits, god-modding or writing my character for me...That's all dickish behavior and I won't be involved with it.

Writing Guidelines
One: I will not write with anyone under the age of 18. I tend to write adult content in some form or another and refuse to do so with anyone under the legal age of consent for my area.
Two: I ask that the boundary between reality and fiction not be blurred. I am not any of my characters, even if I wish I could be, and you are not yours, therefore if our characters are dating, we are not. I shouldn't have to say this, but experience has taught me otherwise. Three: The devil is in the details, or rather, in you ignoring them. Nothing irritates me more than when I can blatantly see my post has been ignored. This includes rearranging or moving my character for me, changing the setting abruptly when I've clearly described a place or placement, or just outright ignoring things I've written. |
General Guidelines
One: If we write smut together and you, for whatever reason, ask me if I am getting off to what we write, or tell me you are, I will duck out of the thread. It goes back to the blurring of lines, and franky, makes me uncomfortable.
Two: If you rely on me to come up with and maintain the plot, put in all the effort, and write all the starters, I will lose interest fast. If we do not feed off of each other for inspiration, it'll never work. I'm sorry. Three: I work a lot, and I understand it can be trying for my writing partners. I will do everything in my power to take no more than a week to respond, and to always update you any time my work load goes a little wonky or will delay my replies. I ask that you do the same so I'm not left awkward waiting with twiddling thumbs and a badly sewn flag that reads 'come back.' Joking aside - I understand life gets crazy, don't be afraid to let me know you need some time. |
